Today, the 102nd birth anniversary of late former Chief Minister Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR) was grandly celebrated at Gudibanda MJP Gurukula Girls’ College.
On this occasion, Principal Prasad spoke about NTR’s inspiring journey — from selling milk during his student days to entering public service, his rise in the film industry, how he shone as a star, and how he transitioned from cinema to politics. He highlighted how NTR established a political party in a very short span and became Chief Minister, and how he served as a “protector of the poor” during his tenure. Notable initiatives such as introducing rice at two rupees per kilo were also discussed.
